Steven McCullough
Chief Operating and Equity Officer
Steven McCullough is chief operating and equity officer at Communities In Schools. McCullough joined Communities in Schools in September 2015. McCullough is a well-known, well-respected nonprofit leader and came to Communities In Schools from the Greater Chicago Food Depository where he served as vice president of community partnerships. During his 25 years in the private and public sector, McCullough also served as vice president and chief operating officer of the Safer Foundation, president and chief executive officer at Bethel New Life, Inc. and held various leadership positions at the Chicago Association of Neighborhood Development Organizations. McCullough is a graduate of Loyola University of Chicago Quinlan Business School and earned his master’s degree at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. His honors include British American Project Fellow (2008), Annie E. Casey Children & Family Network Fellow (2007) and Leadership Greater Chicago Fellow (2002)
In his role, McCullough oversees the key operating departments within the organization. McCullough and his family are delighted to have made their home in Virginia.
